Pride & Archive started in 2012 as a collaborative project between Mason Cooley & Summer Merritt designing custom boxes and furniture. In 2022 Summer decided to pursue jewelry design exclusively while Mason continues the furniture side of the business. They continue to share a studio and inspire each others designs. The name originated when we were making custom boxes for antique eyewear collectors. We wanted it to express our values as artists but could also grow with us as the business evolved. The name has served us well as it feels as relevant to our furniture and jewelry design as it did our custom boxes.
